Mr. Collin Underwood

I am excited to serve as the Dean of Students at Southeast. This is my seventh year in the Hazelwood School District, where I have had the privilege of working at several elementary schools, including Armstrong, Keeven, and Arrowpoint, and most recently, spending the majority of my time at Jury Elementary as a Physical Education teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership, along with completing the district’s leadership training program.

My goal as Dean of Students is to create a welcoming and supportive school environment where every student feels valued and has the opportunity to succeed. I believe in building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and I am committed to promoting a positive school culture that encourages growth, respect, and responsibility.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Maddi, our son, Hudson, and our two dogs, Dingo and Kermit. I also love to go fishing and am a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
